Welcome! We are Tucson natives born, raised, and deeply rooted in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. Our home is defined by everything that makes the Southwest special: sun-soaked landscapes, endless mountain views, and a serious love for big, bold flavor. Around here, we like our food extra spicy, our mornings spent with our dogs, and our slow afternoons shared with Sheldon, our resident desert tortoise.
I handle all the cooking and recipe creating, while my husband happily takes on the role of official taste-tester and full-time eater. We created this blog as a home for the meals we hold closest—a collection of our own kitchen creations, favorite recipes passed along by dear friends, and cherished dishes handed down through generations of our family.
